How to use:
Spray and paint method
This method is often used for rust removal and anti-corrosion treatment of outdoor steel workpieces. Wear rubber gloves and face mask during construction.
1. First remove the floating rust, and then spray or brush the rust removal agent on the surface of the cleaned workpiece, usually spray and brush twice (the first time after drying and then spray and brush the second time), and apply force to the seriously corroded parts and brush several times.
3. Primer should not be applied when the surface of the steel workpiece is not completely dry, otherwise it will reduce the adhesion between the phosphating film and the workpiece and affect the anti-corrosion effect.
4. Drying time: Drying time varies greatly with different climatic conditions. Generally, the anti-rust primer can be applied after an interval of 2-4 hours after brushing the treatment agent in sunny days at normal temperature, and the drying time should be appropriately extended at low temperature.
Impregnation method
The impregnation method is generally carried out in the workshop, and the acid-resistant tank must be used to store the treatment liquid. Wear rubber gloves and face mask during construction.
1. First of all, use a dense and hard steel wire brush to remove serious floating rust, grease, marl and so on on the surface of the steel workpiece.
2. Blow the surface of the workpiece with compressed air or clean it with a brush or rag.
3. The workpiece is immersed in the tank, the tank is usually soaked for 3-10 minutes under normal temperature conditions (15℃-35℃), and the heavy rust or oxide soaking time should be extended appropriately.
4. The processed workpiece should be placed in a ventilated dry place, and can be coated with primer or stored until it is completely dry. Do not touch the surface of the workpiece by hand during the drying process, and do not let the surface of the workpiece dip in water.
5. Drying time: Drying time varies greatly with different climatic conditions. Generally in a sunny day with a temperature of 25 ° C, the surface drying time is 4-8 hours, and the practical work is 24 hours.
Note: Due to factors such as soaking time, brushing weight, corrosion thickness and so on, it is normal to have black, yellow rust conversion products or white crystalline powder on the surface of the conversion film, which does not affect the anti-corrosion effect.
Ultrasonic cleaning
Ultrasonic rust removal is generally carried out in the workshop, and acid resistant tanks must be used to store the treatment liquid. Wear rubber gloves and face mask during construction.
The workpiece is immersed in the ultrasonic groove, the groove liquid usually needs to be cleaned for 3-8 minutes under normal temperature conditions (25℃-60℃), and the cleaning time of heavy rust or oxidation should be properly extended.
In the process of rust removal, the workpiece can not be stacked on each other. Too much iron in the solution will reduce the effect of removing rust. Until the original liquid is added, there is no significant improvement, at which time, the working tank liquid needs to be replaced.
Note:
1. When using, considering the material, structure, rust degree, rust thickness, pollutants and equipment and other factors, reasonably set the rust removal process, the concentration of the rust removal liquid and the rust removal time. If the rust is heavy, the concentration and working time of the rust removal solution should be increased.
2. Ultrasonic rust removal: Generally, the normal temperature stock solution is used in combination with ultrasonic, which can be diluted with water in a ratio of 1:1 when used for the first time, and the rust removal time is 5 to 10 minutes. If there is no ultrasonic wave, compressed air can be used to remove rust, which can improve the effect of removing rust. Soaking, brushing and rust removal can be done, but the rust removal time is slightly longer, and the rust removal program should be determined according to the actual situation. When the temperature is particularly low, it is heated to 20 ~ 55 ° C to ensure the speed of rust removal. After removing the rust, rinse thoroughly with pure water.
3. The workpiece shall not overlap with each other. When there are too many iron ions in the solution, the rust removal effect will decrease, and the working fluid should be replaced.
4. After rust removal, the workpiece should be fully dry, the operator should wear clean gloves to contact the workpiece, and put the workpiece in a dry and clean packaging box.
Product packaging, storage and transportation:
Plastic drum packaging: 5KG/25KG/50KG/ drum, non-dangerous goods easy to store and transport;
Storage period of two years, can not be stored in the open air, to prevent sun and rain;
For unused rust remover, tighten the lid to prevent water and impurities from mixing.
